The current version of Perfect Patterns is v3.05. If your version is older than that, you may use the update file to update to the latest version.

Perform the following steps to update to the current version:

Step 1.Use the links below to download the file of your choice. You have a choice of file types: zipped file or self-extracting zipped file (for PC's). If you have version 2.22 or newer and wish to use the update menu item, download the zipped file, not the self-extracting version.

NOTE: As of v2.14 there are no longer separate versions for pilots and flight attendants.

Step 2. (Prior to v2.22)Extract the files into your Perfect Patterns folder.

• If you don't know where that is, search for the file "ppp.class" and extract the files to that folder.
• If you downloaded the self-extracting file, the files will be extracted to your computer's default temporary folder. You will then need to move the files to your PP folder.
• If you downloaded the zipped file, you'll need to use a program such as WinZip to extract the files.

Step 2. (You already have v2.22 or newer)

• Start Perfect Patterns.
• On the File menu select Update.
• With the open file dialog box that appears, find and select the zipped update file you downloaded.
• When Perfect Patterns is done (a couple seconds), exit Perfect Patterns.
• Next time you start Perfect Patterns you will be using the new version.

Changes in v3.05

• Fixes a long standing bug that causes carry in trips to be displayed on the wrong dates on the calendar. This bug only affected months in which the first day of the month started on a Sunday.
• Small display change concerning phone numbers on the calendar.

Changes in v3.04

• Handles augmented flights involving leg length less than 8 hours.
• Improves Calendar display for trips ending with a flight that operates over midnight.
• Adds a new filter criteria to avoid trips with a DH leg ...if it makes a difference in pay. If you check the box, it will filter out all such trips whether or not you check the box to avoid all DH's.
